The current recommendations from the CDC is to use a base of at least 60% alcohol, the hand sanitizer I made is 70%. I also included Vegetable Glycerin and Aloe Vera Gel to keep your hands soft.
And being an aromatherapist, I couldn’t not include essential oils! This formulation includes:
Eucalyptus globulus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus), Melaleuca alternifolia Essential Oil (Tea Tree), Lavandula augustifolia Essential Oil (Lavendar), Citrus bergamia Essential Oil (Bergamot)
Each blue glass bottle is 120ml with a spray top.
Cost: $15 per bottle
Contact-less Pickup in Chilliwack (I will provide the location once payment is made) or Shipping Rates Apply.
Note: Not for internal consumption. Does not replace adequate hand washing. This formula contains Bergamot which is phototoxic, so do not spray all over yourself then go in the sun.
“CDC recommends washing hands with soap and water whenever possible because handwashing reduces the amounts of all types of germs and chemicals on hands. But if soap and water are not available, using a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can help you avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. The guidance for effective handwashing and use of hand sanitizer in community settings was developed based on data from a number of studies.”
